More unpopular opinions from me, Yippee!
What you think you know about North Korea is probably not true. Kim Il-Sung/Jong-Il/Jong-Un aren't "gods" and they certainly aren't dictators either.
They do have elections in North Korea but they don't have "Presidential Elections" because of constituencies (there's no "President of North Korea" and "Eternal President Kim-Il Sung" doesn't mean much). Just look at the results of the latest election they've had. Former British Ambassador to North Korea, Peter Hughes came under fire all because he simply described his observation of the elections as just a celebrating festive attitude rather than demonizing it the entire time.
A Swiss businessman explains his experiences about what he saw in North Korea/DPRK which is hardly anything like the mainstream media said it was. And no he didn't just visit Pyongyang.
A Taiwanese news group went on a trip to North Korea to see what it's like over there and one girl from 5:15 to 5:40 of the video explains how different the reporting actually is when she was in the UK.
Dr. Margaret Chan of the United Nations' World Health Organization visited the country and said that the healthcare is something that "developing countries would envy."
There were programs established by both the local Red Cross and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies to rebuild the villages as well as providing food, water, medicine etc.
A friend of a friend of mine visited North Korea/DPRK plenty of times to show what it was actually like over there and not what the media says they are.
South Korean Conservative news site Korea JoongAng Daily even admits that defectors are returning to the DPRK. No executions.
Not everything is as it seems because the world doesn't work like Hollywood.

Ok it kinda depends, if your going to vacation in north Korea then you have to be careful of what you do but other then that it a good place for tourism
