Too many times I have seen people not just on deviantART but pretty much everywhere act like that they know about things that they aren't really experts on thinking that it's just "common sense."
Yet, barely any evidence or sources (the most important), hardly any experience and chances are, they have no idea what they're talking about.
"But Wes, don't you do that too!?"
Yes and no.
Yes because it's human nature for us to argue because we feel we see things our way.
No because I'd rather research and actually talk to people before making a conclusion.
All in all, don't act like you know and be honest with yourself. I get along more with people who admit that they're stupid than those who pretend to be smart. Honest idiots are smarter than pseudo-intellectuals.
Also, I would appreciate it if people stopped making "opinionated" stamps if they're not experts on any subject. Cite your damn sources. Fuck your stupid opinions.
Edit: Fixed the "PLEASE" part a little to make the blue text more a bit more readable.
Edit: (the sequel) Changed the background color and the text color of the "PLEASE" part.
Half agree with you, in so far that there's nothing wrong with arguing about something you're not well versed in as long as you're willing to accept it when someone else who's clearly more educated on the matter clues you in. As long as you can back off, admit you didn't know something or bother to read a source that offers a different view point on a divisive issue, I think there's nothing wrong with it.
However, this is "LoudestOpinions". People are going to talk about their opinions, whether or not they're experts because it's a matter of expression. Nothing wrong with making a stamp about how you feel about Hetalia or gay marriage or fandoms, etc. It's a different story when someone is trying to prove something with their stamp, but then I don't really think this group is where you'd find that kind of thing in the first place.
